Amana OSHC

Who we are

About Amana OSHC

Islamic-values-based before and after school care, built around your family — right on the grounds of the school your child already knows.

Our story

Amana OSHC started with a gap. Working parents had few real options after the school bell — and families wanting genuinely fun, enriching activities for their kids had even fewer. Amana was built to change that: to give children an amazing experience, and give parents somewhere they’d be truly happy to send them.

We opened with 3 centres in 2024. In just two years we’ve grown to 11 centres across New South Wales and Victoria — each one rooted in Islamic values and designed to nurture the whole child: intellectually, physically and spiritually, in and out of the classroom.

Our mission is simple — a safe, nurturing environment where children are genuinely engaged in quality learning and play.

An Amana OSHC educator helping a child with an activity

“Would we want to send our own kids here?”

That’s the question behind every decision we make. If the answer isn’t a clear yes, we change it.

From our CEO

“Growing up, I went to vacation care — and I still remember the friends, the adventures, and the feeling of a day that was completely mine. Those memories shaped me. I started Amana OSHC to give that same experience to the next generation: a safe, values-led place where the hours beyond the bell become the best part of a child’s day.”

— Jayden, Founder & CEO

Islamic values, every day

A dedicated prayer space for Dhuhr and Asr with Wudu facilities, Quran and Arabic through Iqra Circle, and strictly halal food at every session.

Better than the standard

A 1-to-12 educator-to-child ratio — significantly better than the 1-to-15 government mandate — so your child gets more attention and better supervision.

11 centres and growing

Partnering with Islamic schools across NSW and VIC. See our centres.

Government-approved

A CCS-approved provider — the Child Care Subsidy applies at every Amana centre. See fees & CCS.

Child safety comes first

Amana OSHC is a government-approved provider operating within the National Quality Framework, with our program aligned to My Time, Our Place — the national framework for school age care. Our educators hold Working With Children clearances, are trained in first aid and medical emergency response, and every session runs on roll calls and headcounts.

Families always know where their child is: in your child’s first week we collect younger children directly from their classroom, and children are only released to authorised contacts. If your child has a medical condition or allergy, our staff work from your management plan.

Our team

Our team is the heart and soul of everything we do — creating a warm, safe, and nurturing environment for every child.
