AMANA OSHC Booking Guidelines for Parents

Welcome to AMANA OSHC! We offer two primary booking systems to accommodate your needs: the Casual Booking System and the Original Enrolment System. Below you will find easy steps to navigate these systems, ensuring a smooth experience for both you and your child.

Enrolment System (Enrolment Before Term Begins)

Who It’s For: Parents looking for a consistent schedule throughout the term.

How It Works:

Availability: Open from two weeks prior to the start of the term until the end of week four.
Selection Process: On the enrolment form, indicate the number of days per week your child will attend.
Confirmation: Our admin staff will confirm your booking, ensuring the correct selection has been made.
Fees: $25 for Before School Care and $35 for After School Care.
Changes to Enrolment: To change your consistent enrolments, please contact the centre via email.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least seven days prior to the booked date.

Reduce the cost of care with the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

Lower your care expenses with the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Families meeting eligibility criteria can benefit from subsidies on your Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) fees through the CCS. We strongly encourage you to explore CCS to assess your eligibility.

Determinants of your eligibility include your family’s annual adjusted taxable income, an activity test, and the type of childcare service availed.

To ascertain your eligibility, simply access MyGov and complete your Child Care Subsidy Assessment. Once your claim has been assessed and/or approved, Centrelink will notify you promptly.

Steps to Enrol:

Access the Enrolment Form on our website within the specified booking period.
Select Days: Indicate how many days per week your child needs care.
Submit for Confirmation: Our team will review and confirm your enrolment.
Payment: You will be invoiced for the recurring booking fee based on your selection.
Casual Booking System (Available After Week 5)

Who It’s For: Parents needing flexible, ad-hoc booking options for before and after school care.

How It Works:

Availability: Open after week five of the term. Parents can book any number of days they need for their child in a single booking.
Advance Booking: Bookings can be made up to 48 hours in advance to ensure we meet staffing requirements.
Flexibility: You can book for one day or for the remainder of the term, as needed.
Fees: $30 for Before School Care and $40 for After School Care.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the booked date.

Steps to Book:

Access the Casual Booking Portal on our website after Week 5 of the term.
Select Dates: Choose the days you need care for your child.
Confirm Booking: Ensure your booking is at least 48 hours in advance.
Payment: Complete the payment for the confirmed booking days.

Booking Responsibilities:

Ensure Accurate Bookings: It’s crucial to select the correct days and times when making your booking to avoid any confusion or inconvenience.
Adhere to Cancellation Policies: Familiarise yourself with and adhere to the cancellation policies for each booking system to avoid unnecessary charges.
Contacting the Centre: For any changes to your consistent enrolments in the Enrolment System, please email the centre directly. This ensures that we can accommodate your needs while maintaining the required staffing levels.

Term 3 Vacation Care

7:00 AM - 6:00PM (Mon-Fri)

Booking notice: 48 hours in advance.

Cancellation notice: No cancellations within 2 weeks of school holiday start date.

Our $25.00 Enrolment Fee is charged once a year on your second use of our service. The enrolment fee is pro rata based on Term. This is an Amana OSHC maintenance fee that allows us to acquire and maintain yours and your child’s records, including but not limited to medical management plans, medical authorisation forms and Child Enrolment Information Sheet. The Child Enrolment Information Sheet is updated annually and reviewed on a minimum termly basis. This fee also covers maintaining your enrolments with Centrelink in order to claim the Childcare Subsidy should you be eligible.

Late Pick-up Fee: When a child is collected after the closing time of the service, a parent will be charged $15.00 per 15 minutes or part thereof, per child. Please note this is a set price that covers the out of office hours our staff spend making sure your child gets picked up safely.
